About Ann Arbor
The 2011 Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ann Arbor is not a big congested city, but does boast a lively "Downtown" area, where you will find numerous restaurants, shops, museums, and the University of Michigan. The downtown area is only 4 miles from any of the hotels or the rink. It is a safe, very walkable, and enjoyable area. Most hotels run their own shuttle services into downtown, and city buses are also easily accessible from the hotels.
